In late 2018, the Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland reached out to us with a question about the 2019 cookie season. They were seeking warehouse space on the east side of Columbus that could be used to store excess cookies, so that area Girl Scout troops would have a convenient location to replenish their supplies as needed.

The Dismas team has been a strong supporter of area Girl Scouts for years. We believe firmly in their mission to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world the better place.  In recent years, we have supported GSOH by donating to their Operation Salute program, which provides Girl Scout cookies to members of our military.

Naturally, we jumped at the chance to take our support to a new level. In our first week of stocking cookies, we had over 60 visitors! One leader remarked “Having you guys as a resource was such a convenience! Do you know how much time I saved? Before I would have to drive 45 minutes each way to get more cookies!”
